Me.... Camping? What?

So tomorrow I am off to Meredith music festival, don’t ask why I am going, I don’t like any of the bands!  But i think it will be nice to hang out with some friends in a different scene, not in the same bars, restaurants or parties. I have customised some daggy ass gumboots and ‘tried’ to pack camping attire, wish me luck!

I leave you with this video, it is one of my dad’s favourite songs! The man is singing about how much he wants to eat a cooked chicken and not having enough money for cigarettes and women heheheheh what a song!

Moore please?

The following images are from a book called Henry Moore, Sculptures in Landscape, 1966. He is my favourite sculptor, I don’t know any other sculptures that are more moving and poignant. I am always struck by his forms, and some how they always make me feel something, whether it be good or bad.

Henry Moore writes: “There is no background to sculpture better than the sky, because you are contrasting solid form with its opposite space. The sculpture then has no competition, no distraction from other solid objects.”

Hopefully one day I will get the chance to see them in their real settings!!
